Round rod made of pure titanium, mass fraction Ti min. 99.5%

as an anode / electrode for electroplating / electrolysis, element

This standard electrode is wg. Their purity is mainly used for
experiments in electrochemistry (electroplating, electrolysis, ion
migration, determination of electrochemical potentials, etc.).
Titan Grade 1?
The titanium grade grade 1 (material number 3.7025) is the purest
commercially available titanium. It is characterized by the lowest
levels of oxygen, hydrogen and iron, which means that it has the best
formability of the four pure, commercially available titanium grades.
Titan Grade 1 is therefore mainly used where maximum formability is of
central importance, e.g. B. cold deep drawing. As a casting material, it
is also used as a filling in dentistry because of its physiological
harmlessness. Due to its long lifespan and its exceptional matt-silver
look, pure titanium is also often used in architecture and for jewelry
production.
stick electrodes
All Polymet stick electrodes are cut smooth. Electrode holders with a 4
mm socket, crocodile clips or the contact head for rod and flat
electrodes are used for the power supply. Stick electrodes with O 6 mm
can be used with plugs that have a 5 mm hole.
