Application of Pure vanadium Rod

One of the most common forms of vanadium production is
rods. It is very convenient not only for subsequent machining, but also
for dosing in the smelting industry. Vanadium is used as a microalloy
additive, so it is an indispensable material. Due to its low cost, it
can be allowed to be used where the properties of the metal require it.
It is often used as one of the main elements of alloys with springy
properties. For example, vanadium rods are used to produce the so-called
rail steel, which exhibits a negligible coefficient of thermal
expansion. This ensures a minimum gap at the joints between the rails.
Where else do you use vanadium rods
Regulates rods of vanadium , which sets the thickness and length. At the
request of the customer, it is possible to manufacture non-standard
products that are used in the following areas:
As a powerful catalyst in the industrial production of sulfuric acid on
a large scale. Bars can be used as an additive to increase the corrosion
resistance of steel alloys. When interacting with an aggressive
environment, they will simply change color on the surface, but the
structure will remain completely unchanged. Of these alloys make various
mechanisms operating in the chemical industry. Vanadium rod is used as a
blank of non-standard wire using broaches.
Vanadium is never used in foundry, because its melting is fraught with
certain difficulties, and the resulting parts then demonstrate high
brittleness and crumble even from vibration.
